FAQ

Short answers to the questions people ask first.

Can my shares be liquidated?#

No. Every position is collateralized for its maximum obligation when it opens, so nothing needs to be closed by a third party. There is no liquidation price and no auto-deleveraging. See the collateral model.

Do I need $VANT to use Vanterra?#

No. The Free tier includes the 24/7 options chain, manual trading, position NFTs, the live risk radar and the backtest lab with limited runs. Holding $VANT unlocks more. See Holder tiers.

Do I have to stake $VANT?#

No. There is no staking, no lockup and no unbonding. Your tier is read from your wallet balance.

What is the $VANT contract address?#

It is not published yet. It will be published before launch, on vanterra.app and in these docs. Don't trust an address from anywhere else.

How much yield will a vault earn?#

There is no fixed rate. Streamed premium reflects options actually sold, and yield is not guaranteed. Any fees are published before launch.

When can I withdraw premium?#

Any time. Accrued premium is withdrawable whenever you like. Leave early and you take exactly what has accrued to you. See Premium streaming.

Can I trade on weekends?#

Yes. The options chain is open pre-market, after-hours and on weekends. Off-hours prices reference on-chain and extended-session prices, and the open can gap past any strike. See the 24/7 options chain.

Does the AI strategist trade for me?#

No. It proposes a strategy. Nothing executes until you review and sign it.

What do I settle in?#

USDC. Physically settled contracts deliver the tokenized share in the same block as exercise.

Which chain is Vanterra on?#

Robinhood Chain, chain id 4663.

Is Vanterra a broker?#

No. It does not hold custody of your shares outside the contracts you sign into.
