Position NFTs

Every open option is a transferable NFT that can be sold or gifted before expiry.

Every open option on Vanterra is an NFT. The NFT is the position.

What that means#

  • Transfer it. Move a position to another wallet.
  • Sell it. Sell a position before expiry instead of closing it on the venue.
  • Gift it. Hand someone a position as a whole.

The collateral stays locked for the life of the position regardless of who holds the NFT, so the obligation stays fully funded.
